WE STILL HAVE FLU VACCINATIONS AVAILABLE UP UNTIL 31ST MARCH 25

Due to the recent outbreak of Influenza, we are encouraging all patients who are;

  • 65 Years & Over
  • Any patient living with a long term health condition (please see list below)
  • Any patient who is pregnant
  • Any patient living in a care home
  • Any patient who is a registered carer for a patient who is older or disabled
  • Any patient who is living with someone with a weakened immune system

                                                                                                                                                                                     

IF YOU ARE A PATIENT WHO IS A FRONTLINE HEALTH WORKER OR SOCIAL CARE WORKER CAN ALSO HAVE A FREE NHS FLU VACCINATION

Health conditions that mean you are eligible for the Flu Vaccine;

  • ASTHMA (pt on inhaler or steroid tablets)
  • COPD
  • CYSTIC FIBROSIS
  • HEART CONDITIONS (FAILURE OR DISEASE)
  • CHRONIC KIDNEY DISEASE                                                                                                                                                                                                           
  • LIVER DISEASE (CIRRHOSIS OR HEPATITIS)
  • PARKINSONS DISEASE
  • MOTOR NEURONE DISEASE
  • MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS
  • CEREBRAL PALSY
  • DIABETES
  • ADDISONS DISEASE
  • HIV/AIDS
  • PATIENTS CURRENTLY RECEIVING CHEMOTHERAPY
  • PATIENTS WITH ONGOING ISSUES WITH SPLEEN/OR REMOVED
  • SICKLE CELL DISEASE
  • ANY PATIENT REGISTERED WITH LEARNING DISABILITIES
  • PATIENTS WITH A BODY MASS INDEX OF 40 OR ABOVE
